Tires spinning, hair whipping around her face, she roared head-on back towards the Jag which had been tail-gating her for the past five minutes. The Jaguar tried desperately to swerve out of her way, lost control and flipped diagonally, spewing debris across the Long Island Expressway. "Asshole!" she shouted, as she executed another, more casual, snap reverse to put her back in the direction traffic was going. Her sister, Karen, sitting in the passenger seat, turned to the next page in the paperback she was reading. "How long 'till we get there?" she asked, looking up at Koriyin. Peter barely glanced up as the battered, old '65 Mustang convertible purred into its usual parking space. He looked up as Koriyin and Karen came through the lobby's doors and got his daily weather report. Hot and sunny, no rain: he could tell from what the two women were wearing. Koriyin had on sandals and a white Billy Joel T-shirt which came down to mid-thigh; he was dying to find out whether she was wearing anything under the shirt. Karen was a little more conservative, she had on a light, pastel pink blouse and thin slacks. Which, in this weather, for all he knew, might just mean that once she reached her office, she wasn't going to be wearing anything at all. But, then, no one would see her after she buried herself in her work until quitting time, anyway. "Hi Kory! Hi Karen!" "Good morning, Pete! Looks like it's going to be quite a hot day today," Koriyin replied. "Are we still going to Daphne's party tonight?" "You bet! I can't wait to see you at her pool." "Oh, really?" she said, raising one eyebrow accusingly. When she saw his worried expression, she relented and hugged him. "Don't worry. I'm just kidding." Nope. Nothing under the shirt, Peter could tell as he held her. Nothing but Koriyin. "Ahem. We do work here, don't we?" suggested Karen, with a mildly amused tone of voice. "The movie studio is two blocks east of here." (C) Aerie Productions 1990 Ver. 1 Rev. 0 TH07051990.1914-SP
